it has only been 3 months

   GOOD GRIEF.. it has been 3 months since I blogged.   Life has changed a bit.  And some super fun things have happened.  I have been waiting to post a tutorial until i get my wonderful little camera that my hubby bought.  He ordered it at the end of June and before they shipped it.. they recalled it.  I guess it is better than getting it and being frustrated that it did not work.  We did find out that it will ship on August 28th.  I am beyond excited. I signed up for a photography class.  It is a 6 week course.  The first 2 classes have been so much fun.  I can not wait to explore the lenses and techniques.
 
     I have been brain storming with a friend on some stuff for my MOPS group, and I think I may post our first craft of the semester as my first tutorial! So exciting.  I have a list 2 pages long of ideas.  If you would like to see something done.. post a suggestion, I would love the input.
 
     And I also will be listing a few new items in my Etsy shop.. once the camera arrives!  So check back soon.

why are the weekends so short??

I remember when i was little and the weekends felt like forever! The older i get less that statement is true. Why are the weekends so short? I need to find another way to organize the time.. instead of just cramming it full of things that have to been done while the hubby is home!

This weeks agenda:
make this lil blog a pretty place.
research a nice fancy camera.
and get crackin on the fun crafty post.. even with a few followers.. slow and steady! right?

okay.. now what

Today is the kind of day most people dread...but I love.. RAIN!! I think I like it because i have small children and I don't have to battle the school pick up/ drop off mess.  Before it started raining I did venture out and made a trip to joann's, costco, and got Layton's hair cut.  He looks like a little man.. o how the days have passed by so fast.. seems like yesterday he was my pudgy bald peanut!

Wednesday I am meeting with a friend to help me make this lil blog as pretty as can be.  And then what??

jumping in feet first..

This blog thing.. is something i have wanted to do for a few years now.  I am not the type of person who joins the crowd when the new thing on the web comes about.  I think i was the last person to have a Facebook page and so it fits that i would be one of the last people to have /start a blog.  So.. here it goes.. taking a big breathe and jumping in feet first...

My plans for my little blog are to share my life as a real mom, homemaker, wife, baker, cook, crafter, and everything that my life includes.  I love anything and everything crafty! I am not a perfect crafter, but I have so much fun making pretty things.  I also love to cook and bake.  I plan on sharing my "keepers" on my blog.  I also have 2 kiddos..  they make my days crazy.. but all the cooking, crafting, and mommy stuff is inspired by them.  I hope everyone enjoys following along.. go ahead and jump feet first with me.
